The app: zero telemetry

MD View reads files locally. It does not phone home, does not collect usage data, does not register an account, and does not require a network connection to operate. License keys are validated locally; the only network call ever made by the app is during license activation, which sends the key to Lemon Squeezy and gets a yes/no back.

The site: cookieless analytics

This site uses Plausible Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first product. Plausible counts page views and conversion events without setting any cookies, without storing personally identifiable data, and without sharing data with third parties. No consent banner is required; we have nothing to consent to.

Payments: Lemon Squeezy

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They process payment, calculate sales tax / VAT, deliver the license key by email, and host the customer portal. Their privacy policy applies to the data you provide at checkout (name, email, billing address, payment method). We see only the order email and license key.

Your rights (GDPR)
